ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
‘Friends with Beagle’ is an eclectic showcase of artists ranging in various styles, backgrounds and mediums; featuring five different artists hailing from different countries with one unifying factor, Beagle. Christopher “Beagle” Beaty, the host and curator, is a 26 year old NY native who has been travelling the globe on and off for the last five years and has made many friends and associates along the way. Having had an appreciation for culture and the arts from a young age Beagle understood the value they bring to society, thus started brainstorming on how to curate an event to showcase various art. In the midst of planning he noticed that some of the very friends he has acquired over the years through travel and meeting people are artists yet to be discovered as the next big thing. In his effort to showcase some of their work, he has organized this week-long pop up gallery providing access to the public to experience the wonderful art from these soon-to-be legends of their craft and purchase pieces if desired.
‘Friends with Beagle’ welcomes you to partake in this experience and explore art and culture.

Thank you so much to The Other Art Fair and Saatchi Art for once again putting on a great show. And to everyine that visited my stand over the week.
It is such an exciting platform to be apart of, amongst so many talented artists and being in artists hub within New York.
It was very exciting to be exhibiting for the first time abroad, and what better place to be than in New York. I hope this is a start to many more ventures to the US. It was a great pleasure to exhibit in the country that my paintings were inspired by, and the response was very positive.
These ambitious paintings are the result of an intensive period of making - focussing on accumulated memories, references and sketches made during a two month expedition to the West Coast of America.Read More

9th January - 13th February
A collection of my paintings will be showing in the Sir Terry Frost Gallery until the 16th of February. The exhibition includes a series of sketches and paintings from the Lakes and new abstract landscapes on wood. The show also features some of my original circle paintings as a way to demonstrate to the students the progression of materials, colour and use of ink within my work. During January I will also be taking classes with the students at Kings School, demonstrating my practice and teaching basic colour theory, mixing materials and giving the Upper & Lower 6th one to one tutorials with their work. You can see some more of behind the scenes on my instagram.
If you would like to take a closer look at any paintings or are interested in visiting please get in contact.
